9th annual Bus Driver Appreciation Day!

May 16, 2012 marks our annual Bus Driver Appreciation Day. This day is set aside every year to recognize the safe and caring efforts our school bus drivers provide by transporting approximately 8,800 children to and from district schools each day. We'd like to express a sincere thank you to all school bus drivers for the challenging work they do each day getting our students to school safely, on time and ready to learn.

Traffic Safety in Alberta

We've added a new resource link in the Safety section of our website. The Alberta Transportation, Office of Traffic Safety believes that child traffic safety is everyone's responsibility and is committed to working with its partners to build a province-wide network of communities dedicated to keeping kids safe. The website provides loads of great resources for educators, parents and community members in teaching children about the importance of traffic safety, getting your communities involved in traffic safety, and encouraging a new generation of more safety conscious Albertans.
